Today marks the pagan festival of Beltane, a time of renewal, of rebirth, of fertility and faeries! This year that is even more poignant to me on many different levels, not least because I hope to be performing at the Sussex Faerie Festival on May 20th. My band and I have performed at this event since 2015 (barring the pandemic) and this year will hopefully have a special twist, as an artist I am mentoring is coming to join me on stage. It is a wonderful and friendly festival, so if you would like to learn more and get tickets, you can visit their website by clicking here, and I hope to see you there one day.
The fae are said to be a mischievous folk and it is best to leave them offerings. Sweet things, shiny things, things that have a pleasant smell or make a harmonious noise should all gather favour if you wish to attract them and encourage them to work with you in your magickal practice. As this time of year is for making new connections and looking forward with optimism, I send you blessings and hope that you are fruitful in all that you set out to do. What will it be?
